You Can Help Chart the Direction of Subaru's EV Efforts!
Hi All, Subaru Corp is looking for some additional owner input in the next in the survey series I am helping them with!
Hi, I'm Robert, a Subaru Ambassador who's very active in other Subaru communities (eg: Ascent, Wilderness, MtnRoo Off Road Community, etc). Subaru has asked me to help them with an ongoing series of Owner Research Projects, to connect them with owners interested in helping chart Subaru's Electric Vehicle future.
IF you own another BEV and a Solterra simultaneously, please pick an option, AND also comment the following below if you want to be considered for the survey.
Subaru is very interested in the results, and may also be interested in your thoughts (more on that later)... once this poll is completed, I may be asked to send some of you a survey from Subaru with all sorts of questions about your thoughts on EV ownership, to help you chart Subaru's EV direction (I do not see your answers to Subaru's survey, but feel free to share any thoughts in this forum that you are willing to).
This is the second in the series, and I am hoping to be able to provide many more to allow all of you to help chart the future!!!

Not for this one, but, I am hoping there will be many more, one of which may cover PHEVs.Do PHEVs count?
Again, kinda wondering why they're asking current Solterra owners and aren't looking for opinions from non-owners. Because they are all surveys and have very carefully crafted questions to typically verify their assumptions, choose between the lesser of two (or more) evils, and/or choose/budget for a limited set of features.
There will be more surveys with various goals, but you can always craft a message and email it directly to Subaru. I have seen many things I have suggested since 2014 get implemented and recently feel like I had a hand in the interior design of the Prius (from a number of messages about the Solterra I sent when it was first revealed that I am assuming we’re just forwarded to Toyota).
In case anyone hasn’t figured it out, Toyota’s system of categorizing customers says that the only people that would consider an EV are Prius customers (or potential customers). That’s why they dropped the Prius interior in the bZ4X, which the Solterra naturally inherited.

There are going to be more surveys. This survey and the previous are for Subaru Solterra owners to see what they thing. There's nothing wrong with focusing on what Subaru owners want and expect before focusing on (or simultaneously with) what non-Subaru owners want and expect.Again, kinda wondering why they're asking current Solterra owners and aren't looking for opinions from non-owners. Subaru, as a brand, did poorly when GM tried forcing them to be something they aren't. Responding to what Subaru owners wanted, as odd as it might seem, gained them tremendous growth, while the "GM Years" were not the best.
Thanks all! Subaru Corp should be sending me survey links for select respondents here and on my FB post, which I will share by DM once I get them. I may get a follow up research survey for those who they don't select for this one and will let you know.
