I am enjoying the car and its level of concern about me and my environment. It saw its first human in the wild the other day. I was leaving a store parking lot and entering the street. There was a person about 15' in front of me walking across the way. The car turned the screen to 'rant mode' beeped at the stronger level and made a bunch of yellow arrows pointing to the human. I told it it was OK, I can see the person.

First did this to me when I took it off road and decided the path I would take was too ugly for my new car. A lot of spiky stuff, so I backed out and when I attemted to turn around I had to come close to quite a few things. The car is not OK with this blatant disregard of nearby objects. It actually stopped me at one point. Extracted myself laughing at the car and decided I would just leave it for now, as it is entertaining.

While stopped at a light, a jogger chose to go between the car stopped first and me, behind it. He abruptly left the curb, the nanny started beeping at me and the display switched to the front camera and bird’s eye view and it painted a yellow target all over the moving jogger. If the light had changed, it would have helped protect him, even though I was paying attention and saw him. But people can come out from behind stuff, in your blind spot, etc. Nice that it did its thing. I wasn’t moving, so it didn’t have to stop the car.
