Would you still buy an EV without the tax credit

I left Washington state in Oct, the other vehicle threads are thrashing the credit, cause you get smeared buying a new car, especially the electric kind...cause the sales tax and registration eats over the tax credit...I left Hawaii in 2019, your registration was tied to vehicle weight, so for 2 electric cars, was almost, 4000 dollars for tabs...ouch, on one had we have to chip in for roads since we aren't paying for fuel tax, but do you have to hit us with a base ball bat...so that tax credit...here you go, ok we take it back, thank you, enjoy your Subaru...sorry for the pot holes
