I use the little tray slot between the cup holders and the arm rest. Can slide the armrest forward to cover them.

I have it on the driver's side visor, it's ok there except I hit my head on it if I have to lean too far forward. It's soft so it doesn't hurt just a little annoying. It doesn't block my view at least.
