Dealer is pushing to get the order in by 05/20 saying Subaru ordering portal seems to go on and off and don't want to take a chance of waiting till last moment.

Still on the fence ordering due to slow DC charging, but this will be my main commuter for short distances.

In any case, what accessories are worth order? I am thinking
  • Body-side molding - only shows as smoke carbon in the list that the dealer provided, but I am sure it will be matched with the pain
  • Cargo tray
  • Door-edge Guards
The only main questions I have is: are the all weather mats worth ordering from factory?

This is going to be my second Subaru that I need to factory order. I also had to factory order 2015 Outback 3.6R and had ordered bunch of accessories. Wasn't really thrilled with all-weather mats. They didn't have lips around the edges to contain liquids.

Is there an actual/official accessories list available anywhere with pricing? I have ordered the Limited with no accessories, but it seems like it doesn’t come with the cargo cover (which seems really chintzy to me) - it shows up as standard on Touring - which I definitely would want along with cross bars and some floor mats at least, maybe a cargo tray as well. The dealer didn’t seem to have a list available when we put in the order and wasn’t exactly sure when he would.

I didn't order any accessories. My salesperson told me that when we get closer to the production date, I can add accessories if there's anything that I want included with the purchase. Most accessories will be available to purchase after the fact from the dealer, too.

I ordered the floor mats and the cargo cover. I balked a little at the cargo cover at $350 but I don't want my car broken into because someone can see in my trunk.

Hey @noninoni welcome to the forum! I agree I like the peace of mind a cargo cover gives. Are you thinking of getting anything else for your Solterra?
I don't think so. I got the limited trim and the other accessories seem too expensive. I wish I could have the ventilated seats because I think they could help in my hot climate but I couldn't justify paying up for the touring.

My top three SOA accessories...

Cargo cover
Cargo tray. (Unless Weather tech's is cheaper when production starts. - But not their floor mats.)
Windshield shade cover. SOA's is extra beefy on insulation for all that non-tinted front glass.

- Eventual once they hit production.

TuxMat floor mats *
Dongar Tech Dash Cam/USB adapter

*
Outerwear Sleeve Grey Glove Tread

When I spoke to my dealer there were only limited accessories available for order:
Door Edge Guards
Body Side Moulding
Mud Guards
All Weather Floor Mats
All Weather Cargo Tray
Cargo Net
Activity Mount (not a hitch)

My wife's RAV4 Prime has ventilated seats...and they feel nice. Ventilated seats would be the only reason why I would want a Touring...but I couldn't justify the $3500 price difference, so I'm getting the Limited instead.

Remember, for the port-installed accessories there is no installation charge, but most of these are dealer-installed accessories and they will also charge you an installation fee (which varies by dealer and is a way for them to make additional money from your purchase). All these accessories will be available for purchase online (in time) for probably a lot less and can be installed yourself.

See the attached. I got this from my dealer in Western PA. These appear very similar to the accessories listed for bz4x.

I am also not thrilled about Subaru's all weather mats, and would like WeatherTech's but how to protect the car until they are available?

I ordered with the Touring model, in galactic black w/gray interior, the all weather mats and cargo tray. But, my dealer only had 3 other options, at this time.

Cargo Net = $76
Activity Mount = $499
Door Edge Guards = $185

Patrick Subaru, Shrewsbury, MA

I saw a list, posted here, with a bunch of other accessories, but wonder if those are for the US or not??

Got all you listed but the last 2 items. BTW ordered the the Touring.
I skipped the cargo cover, activity mount and cargo net. Also ordered a Touring, and figured no since in ordering the cargo cover as they are usually tucked under the floor of the cargo area or on a shelf in my garage. We've got a cargo net from current Forester that should work fine if my wife feels like she needs one, and the activity mount isn't rated high enough to hold our current bike rack with anything but the kid's bikes.

I ordered the cargo tray, and I wanted corresponding rear seat back covers, but those weren't in the accessories list. Carpeted floor mats weren't in the list either, but the sales rep said he thought they came with the car. I got the touring trim. I also didn't see wheel locks in the list. So, I hope they come with it, too.

I just placed order for

2023 Solterra Limited
Body Color: Harbor Mist Gray Pearl
Interior: Gray & Blue StarTex Synthetic Leather
Accessories mainly for protection:
  1. Door Edge Guards - Harbor Mist Gray Pearl
  2. All-Weather Floor Liners
  3. Cargo Tray
  4. Bodyside Molding - to match the body paint
I figured I can get activity mount, cargo cover, cargo net separately, when they become available at a cheaper price!

I guess I will post it in the other thread about orders when I have the confirmation! :)
