Found this little organizational tray insert on Amazon for the lower console area. Looks decent from the small number of review photos. I don't have my solterra yet and have not ordered this product. Just sharing in case someone might want one.
Got one for myselfAmazon.com
Received ours yesterday. Yes it obviously goes under the phone charging compartment between foot wells. The description in Amazon said to open the console and insert the tray. Obviously one of the other items for sale in the same Amazon posting. As i understand the description and the pictures, it's for the lower (between foot wells) storage area.
That's what I ordered mine for.
It looks like it might sit on top of the standard lift-out tray?Does the console compartment insert replace the plastic box that comes with the car? Does it sit on top of the manuals?
Nice. I was wondering if it gave you three levels of storage in that space. It sits on top of the existing OEM box that comes with the vehicle.
That is a nice storage addition. Will order one thanks to your explanation. It sits on top of the existing OEM box that comes with the vehicle.
Does the bottle fit in one of the bottle compartments in the door? Thanks for these posts. I got the lower console tray and it’s super helpful. I ordered the armrest insert and am hoping I’m just as happy with that.
Is anyone aware of an adapter for the cup holders to accommodate a wider cup? My 20oz Yeti bottle doesn’t fit.
The version I ordered did the exact same thing. It was sitting in my garage since the summer. I ordered from eBay way back since the summer was my original delivery timeline. It’s to bad cause it’s a nice tray.I ordered the upper organizer (for under the armrest) and it arrived today. It's well made, I like the non-slip liners that come with it, BUT....
When I close the armrest, I have to press down more than usual, and when that happens the organizer wedges into the underside of the armrest, so the next time I lift the armrest, the organizer goes with it. I need (under better lighting) to figure out where it's making contact with the armrest - and see if there's some way to reduce the contact and/or friction between the two so the organizer would stay put.
