I visited the Subaru dealer in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada this morning and test drove a Solterra, then signed on the dotted line, so to speak. I had placed a $500 deposit in late February 2022. Four days ago, using the BC Services app, I applied for the $4000 BC provincial grant. This can take as long as three weeks, but only took three days. Canada also has a $5000 federal grant, which the dealer applies for. The dealer takes the $9000 off the purchase price before taxes. I’m expecting delivery in late winter or early spring. Was very impressed by the test drive.
