All,

Subaru has updated their website to show you the color options, including two-tone.

Happy configuring!

I might have to change from #TeamGalacticBlack to #TeamSmokedCarbon

Great find, thanks! I had to clear cookies to see the updated colors on the spinning car. It's pretty amazing how much of a difference the black top makes. I already ordered the Limited in Smoked Carbon, which I got a chance to see in person at the Milwaukee Auto Show. Touring wasn't an option for me, but I might have paid an extra $495 for the black top if it was available on the Limited.

Yes, unfortunately, it sounds like the two-tone paint scheme is only offered on the Touring, according to the press release. I also would be interested in it, I think it ties the "look" together.

I initially picked Harbour Mist (blue), but now am thinking I like the Red better. My Kona was red, and really stood out. My Crosstrek is Cool Grey Khaki (light blue) not unlike the Harbour Mist.

But what I have noticed, is that other drivers don't always see the Crosstrek well, esp in round-abouts. My wife has said the same thing. That was not the case with the Kona.

So red could be a better safety colour, too.

For the past 2 decades, almost anytime my wife and I see a light blue car she starts rambling about this old car she or her mom had that was light blue and got hit over and over again by people who "didn't see it".

Besides being a flat, boring-looking color that was one of the reasons I didn't consider Harbor Mist -- now Dark Blue Mica, there's a nice color! :)

I just checked the website.. there’s no way to click anything to configure the colors on the car!

Do you think the color scheme shown in the interior photos apply to each trim and exterior color? The interior color I ordered was Black Startex...but the seats in their 360 image are greyish and blueish
It doesn’t seem like the interior configure is “live” or reflects what interior scheme is available with which exterior color. That’s the main reason I went with Harbor Mist because of the light gray/blue seats- I can’t stand all black interiors, too dark, especially because the Solterra, unlike other Subarus, does not have a light colored headliner and it doesn’t seem the two tone interior was available with any other color.

I believe the Subaru website works like that for most vehicles for the 360 drag-and-spin view, some of them have options for "day" or "night" and "seats up" or "seats down"

You should be able to find some still photos of the interior options.

I would suggest maybe trying a different browser, or clearing your internet history/cookies?

You could also try opening a Private tab in Safari. That should force it to refresh.

@3rdsubieguy,

I am able to play with the different colors on my desktop computer.

Am I able to build a Solterra to my specification, no.

Can I at least adjust the exterior color options, yes.

Quoting your own post to re-emphasize your opinion is not necessary. If you happened to quote in error, then advise.

It may come down to simple semantics, but your response was over aggressive, imo.

*I strongly urge you to edit your above posts removing the accusations you have publicly made against other forum members. *

I had various red cars but the dealbreaker for me was the black interior with the Solterra red.

I need a light interior so Harbor Mist or Cosmic White were the only two options with the Limited trim.

@3rdsubieguy: You need to take about 20-30% off the top with your attitude. Calling members liars and insulting computer users won't get you far in life. Everyone else can configure the colors except you. #picnic (Problem In Chair Not In Computer)
