Yes that one labeled "Ireland" is from Quebec, Canada. Photos are on the Solterra Facebook group.

I think you can just buy 18" Solterra wheels or aftermarket wheels. But hopefully they will not fall off. haha.
I definitely do not want 20's. Not sure what I will do there.

It is the main reason I am getting the base model, that and the smaller screen is perfect for me. I don't need any of the stuff that is on the higher spec cars, and the only thing I might like is the better stereo.

Yes I am now considering the base model just for this reason, but I actually do want the other features in the luxury trim (happy wife happy life). I actually will try and see if anyone buying the base model wanted to swap with me if I get the luxury. That would be a nice free upgrade for someone who doesn’t ever go off road.

When I was at Downtown Subaru in Toronto, Canada yesterday. They had one mid-level Solterra on the back lot. A customer was looking at it with a salesman, and they let me sit in it to check out head and legroom. I'm 6'3", and it was an easy fit just like my 2020 Forester.

Im not really sure why this is the case. Maybe they shipped recall parts to Canada first because there was less cars here physically already? Also, I believe the cars that are arriving at the dealerships are the almost 300 cars that were already here since May/June. I don’t believe a new shipment has arrived with more. They are just finally sending the cars that were being held to the dealers.

Makes sense, just frustrating. But no more frustrating than knowing your car was already on this side of the Pacific 5 months ago.

I think they are also trying to wait as long as possible to lobby for government incentives before making customers pay ~10K “extra” for their cars, especially when they have been criticized so much for being extremely mediocre.
