For 31A vs 31B:

Eliminate description of "Hybrid Radio" in settings
Eliminate "Internet radio - Using Internet radio" section

Various corrections to page number references.

No other significant changes.

I wrote a custom PDF to text extract with PyPDF2 and used Sublime Text diff.

Do you have access to the manuals? It seems they are behind login/password.
Click "Online Reference" at the top of the page and search there. If you're on a phone, you may have to switch to the desktop site to see that option. On Android, it's on the menu. On Safari, I think there are a couple of "A"s of different sizes that you can click to bring up a menu.

I don't know if this link will work directly:

But they still have some errors and typos. This is my favorite, under 5.2 Driving Procedures:

When parking
  • Exhaust gases include harmful carbon monoxide (CO), which is colorless and odorless. Observe the following precautions. Failure to do so may cause exhaust gases to enter the vehicle and may lead to an accident caused by light-headedness, or may lead to death or a serious health hazard.
  • If the vehicle is in a poorly ventilated area or a closed area, such as a garage, stop the EV system.
  • Do not leave the vehicle with the EV system operating for a long time. If such a situation cannot be avoided, park the vehicle in an open space and ensure that exhaust fumes do not enter the vehicle interior.
  • Do not leave the EV system operating in an area with snow build-up, or where it is snowing. If snowbanks build up around the vehicle while the EV system is operating, exhaust gases may collect and enter the vehicle.

I guess, technically, the carbon monoxide could enter the vehicle from OTHER (ICE) vehicles operating in a poorly ventilated area... but in that case, stopping "the EV system" will be of no use.

There's another section that makes absolutely no sense as written, under 2.2 Charging:
  • Do not let the wheels on the AC charging cable, plug, charging connector and CCID (Charging Circuit Interrupting Device).
I hope the people writing the software for the vehicle do a better job of proofing and testing.

Updated links to Solterra manuals on Subaru's site
I'm sure one of you industrious forumers has run the old and new manuals through a comparison engine, right? Can anyone share the differences? I took a quick look at the wheel section of the owner's manual and nothing jumped out at me.
