I a bit surprised that my Solterra has many squeaks & rattles. Most notably in the plastic surround that hold the map lights and the SOS button. Also, in the surrounding plastic around the passenger door. Not what I expected for $50,000 car that was built in collaboration with Toyota no the less. My 2004 Corolla made not one squeak in all the years I owned it.

I beg to differ my Solterra Touring not one squeak its rock solid car. The EV is quick , quiet , solid and nimble. You may need to talk to your dealer about these issues. Frankly I have had 5 Subarus and this one the best. The seats are firm with right amount of softness. The heads up display works despite criticism. I would have preferred volume button. Also a lit lock button because it lacks this feature to see at night. Lack of frunk and glove box would have been ideal. The heated seats and steering wheel amazing.

You can “beg to differ“but I never knew I was in a debate. My statement is one of fact not an opinion.

Well, sorry to hear your car has these problems. The good news, as you have heard from others, is that this is not normal. Hope your dealer can fix it, and you will then be able to enjoy the car like the rest of us. Good luck!

No squeaks or rattles here. One time I was trying to figure out a whirring noise coming from the passanger area, that kind of sounded like a rattle. Then I realized my wife was cranking up her seat ventilation
