I am getting this from some of his posts I've seen on the Ascent forum. Don't get me wrong. He sounds like a great guy, and how he has supported the Ascent community.Yes, and I cannot advise on your inquiry regarding his opinion of EVs... You'd have to ask him directly on one of the other Forums he is on.
I love EV's. My best friend has a Tesla. And I think the Rivian is AMAZING. I hope Subaru releases a four wheel hub motor based version of the Ascent asap - or at least by the time I've hit 200,000 miles on my Ascent. And, I am hoping that, by then, solid state batteries and other upcoming battery technology will be mainstream, allowing me to off-road the places I enjoy off roading, which are usually the last (sadly) to adopt such technologies, and will be the hardest to find fast enough chargers for my driving pace.Hmmm, is this vid by Robert Mauro from the Ascent forum? I thought he didn't like EVs?
I have an idea of what's next. But more importantly, since nothing is set in stone for the future, would you like to help Subaru chart their EV future? If so, shoot me a DM. They'll send you a $50 Amazon Gift Card if you complete their surveyAnyway, not sure what/when will be coming with future Subaru EVs. I am sure though that Toyota will continue to support that development with Subaru. I think that is a good thing. I don't believe Subaru has the deep pockets and expertise to go it alone. But hopefully, future EVs will indeed have more Subaru in them.
Should offer this to people who didn't buy the vehicles they had reserved!I have an idea of what's next. I need TEN Solterra owners who have their Solterras and drive them already, who want to participate with Subaru to help do that.

I'll suggest that for a follow up. They may or may not do it. If so, you all will have to let me know what they think of that follow up survey. Usually, I just recruit participants (including for ones I am not the target audience for and don't participate in, lol).Should offer this to people who didn't buy the vehicles they had reserved!

Then, if you've already got opinions formed about the Solterra, or about EV's in general, please shoot me a DM, and I will send you the details.Got 1550 miles on mine
Hey Robert, I got approx. 2600 km (I am from Vancouver Canada) on mine. If there is a spot left, I would like to participate. Sorry, I don't see/know how to send a DM to you on solterraforum. There is no such an option for me after I click your name.Hey everyone, I've got three spots left in the survey. DM me if interested.
Also, if you're in the NorthEast and have fitted your Solterra with all terrains and want to have a bit more fun with it, then don't forget to join MtnRoo Tri-State and join us on our adventures, like the Solterra in our vids!
