Will the Solterra have a self parking mode?

There is a button on the right of the console that seems to invoke that functionality and the reveal by the Subaru engineer(?) in charge of Solterra’s development included a quick animation of a self-parking feature backing into a tight perpendicular space. Whether it is a “cah pahk” done via a remote cell phone or an in-car camera scanning software function similar to Ford and other auto makers remains to be seen. I’m intrigued as well.
Here is another video from Japan (with what looks like a Toyota Corolla to me lol) demonstrating some self-parking features. Whether this is the same technology we get with the Solterra here in the states still is a mystery. The button does remain on the console though.
Yeah, I’ve been going over the manual to try to glean exactly the process and capabilities- the “memory” feature intrigues me, sounds a bit like the BMW and other marques being able to follow exactly (even in reverse?) the path that you “recorded”. A challenging driveway or parking garage path remedy. I still don’t see any autonomous, or out of the car controlled by a phone features as depicted in the videos but it certainly seems that is possible with existing hardware and the right software.
