While I do all the preventive/normal maintenance on all my vehicles, I realize not everyone has the ability/experience/equipment needed to do the same.

I’m fortunate in that I have a second 2-bay garage/shop equipped with an electro-hydraulic lift installed, plus a large assortment of mechanics tools, so maintenance items like tire rotations are easy for me. Lots of owners have neither the place or tools to work on a vehicle.

For many, it’s simply easier AND less expensive (both in $$$ and/or time) to pay a shop to do their maintenance than purchasing everything needed to do it themselves.
