So, a few weeks ago, at 4500 miles, my Solterra started warning me it needed maintenance soon... which is ridiculous for an EV, but of course the manual says 5000 mi, so when the time came, I scheduled an appointment, and brought it in on Friday (2 days ago).
So, my local dealership problems (no space, terrible parking, overbooked & crowded) aside, the experience was not great. The service advisors (and their computer system) still have no idea how to handle the Solterra. My advisor was really nice, but he even told me that mine was the first Solterra to come in for service.
So, I checked it in, and headed back to work... and didn't hear anything for 4 hours. I finally called just before 5:00 to make sure they hadn't forgotten to call me. They said it was ready for pickup, so I think they did forget. Either way... getting the paperwork afterward was even more enlightening into the fact that their system has no idea what an EV is.
