For an additional $440 I purchased a Subaru Added Security EV Maintenance Agreement" that gets them to look at it every 5,000 miles or 6 months. This includes tire rotation and checking the heater coolant and traction battery coolant at 15,000 and a number of other things at 30,000. Perhaps not a good investment but 5 months and 5,000 miles ago it seemed like a good deal since the model was so new. Brought it in this week and requested the only service tech allowed to touch a Solterra to turn off the back up chime and change the lane change turn signal from 3 to 5 flashes. He did both with no hesitation. I now smile as I back up rather than growl!

Yeah, what was Toyota thinking with that stupid back up buzzer? Also, did you get them to delete the fasten seatbelt buzzer? It still will beep when you first get it, but does not constantly beep, then get obnoxiously loud after 5 seconds.
I don't know about that. I rather like that my passenger is reminded to fasten their seatbelt (I always do). I suspect this would be a safety issue.
