Does anyone here know if the Solterra will be on display at the New York Auto Show (April 15-24)?

I missed my chance to see it at the Chicago Auto Show, but I'll be in New York (Albany) during the NYAS and would make the trip into the city if I knew I'd be able to see/touch/sit in the Solterra.

I've searched casually and not found any conclusive info, one way or the other.

I've submitted the question to SoA, but not expecting a reply anytime soon.

One would think so....once they start showing something, it's not likely they would suddenly stop.

That was my thought. In the past they've had a major exhibit at the New York show. They launched the current generation Outback there in 2019.

I'm hoping by then pricing (and range) will be known.... 🤞

Kind of piggybacking on what Jim said, if they brought a Solterra to the Jacksonville Auto Show then they would most likely have one in NY. Especially since there are, at last glance, 13 dealerships within 200 miles of zip 10001 that have reservations still available. They’re making a big push for that region.
Last I heard from my old sales guy, it sounds like pricing could be announced sometime early May.

I was thinking of going to the Columbus (OH) show, but the 2022 show was canceled. Cleveland is farther than I'm willing to drive (in addition to driving to Albany a month later).

I finally (after >2 weeks) received a reply from SoA that indeed the Solterra would be at the NY Auto Show.

I'm planning to be there on April 22 and will post pictures/attempt to answer any questions that haven't yet been answered.

I know it was at the Philadelphia show this past week...saw it on some news coverage footage. I cannot imagine why it wouldn't be at any show that Subaru participates in at this point.

Agreed. I just didn't want to travel 2.5 hours there (each way) without the assurance. Now I'm excited to see it!

I did! I was there on Friday.

I liked what I saw (mostly). My major misgiving is the abundance of glossy piano-black trim on the interior. Even though I was intrigued by the Ioniq 5 (seen up close, and sat in for the first time) I doubt I'd be able to get one configured the way I want within the next 3-4 months (without paying a huge ADM).
