In many ways, it seems to me that drive-by-wire is solving problems that don’t really exists, and probably at a considerable increase in costs…

Personally I am really interested in development of Lexus yoke.
I have Impreza 2008 and the top part of steering wheel forces me to have seat a little lower than I would like to -> move higher and I can't see top part of dashboard.
Also the need to rotate a lot is some times annoying.
Also small plus for me is annoying part of family which can't drive "properly"
One question for me is how it will behave in drift / slide situations. I was on driving course containing this situation and would like to see steer-by-wire here. Can the system say you rotated enough even you want more?
