Has anyone found a part number for the HDMI Input Terminal, which I have seen as at least a Japanese domestic market accessory for the Solterra?

My use case is that while parked, I want to be able to view a graphical console for a Raspberry Pi through its HDMI (or micro HDMI) output on the multimedia display.

Their infotainment system may be programmed differently to accept it. It may do nothing for you in North America.

That is a risk which I am willing to take for an $80 (exchange rate) part. It makes it far easier than having a small LCD display for the Pi.

But I very much appreciate your comment.
I’m looking forward to seeing if you can get it working. If so, I will also get one haha

At the least, it looks like a hole would need to be drilled in the plastic.

I am working with grandizer52 to get a brand-X version of something like this from Japan to see how it works.

The Subaru Japan and Toyota Japan sites both show the HDMI Input Terminal dealer-installed accessory (Solterra and bZ4X).

I am hoping there is just an HDMI input jack on the display unit the thing plugs into, but it looks like it may be some sort of converter that is 12V powered.

Still working on this.

if you pull off the console, there is an extra HDMI from the entertainment thingy, you are going to have to punch a hole, or run the cable through the clove box...like in high school.
Interesting, so like the plastic piece that is the “box” in between the front seat has an hdmi jack? How would one control the input I wonder or I guess if it detects a signal it overrides the infotainment system maybe
