In all of the first looks I've seen of pre-production Solterras, it looks like there's no glove compartment. Wonder if the production units will have one.

Do you know that for a fact? The pictures I've seen it looks like there's a glove compartment on the passenger side, below the fabric-covered section of the dash. But I haven't seen the car in person, so could be wrong.

It wasn’t there when I sat in it at the auto show or I just couldn’t find it. I went back to it specifically for that purpose. And if it was there, it doesn’t bode well for users.

More than one review video mentioned it was not a feature if I'm not mistaken. While it wouldn't matter much to me, I"m sure it would to some others.

I remember the same thing - think they said that it was removed to make room for footwell heating elements, along the lines of heated seats. Allegedly a more energy efficient route than regular HVAC.
