Just bought my Solterra 2 days ago. The Subaru eyesight functions don't seem to work. No warning sounds when I cross a line, no warning to slow down when approaching another car too close. I've checked the multifunction screen and everything is turned on. What am I missing?

There are 2 modes of cruise control, standard and adaptive. You can change between the two using the Cruise mode button (speedo with the word mode). The lane keep only works when it detects the lane properly. It shows when the lane marking in the dash changes from grey to white.

Thanks for the response. I'm not referring to lane departure in cruise control but to the normal alerts I used to get with my Forrester when driving and crossing a lane. Or also the alerts I would get when approaching something too fast and having the car brake to avoid a collision. I don't get any of the normal alerts I used to get.

I’ve had both the Subaru eyesight and Toyota safety sense in vehicles—and the eyesight in the Solterra more closely resembles the safety sense of the Toyotas functionally. The alerts and warnings of the eyesight are much more limited in the safety sense. I’m a data nut, so I appreciate the constant feedback from eyesight, but my DH would turn off all of the eyesight features for a quieter ride. With the Solterra, my alerts stay on because they are only in maximum use during adaptive cruise control.
