Decided to chrome remove/black out the EV badges and add a personal touch to our Galactic Black Solterra. It was not without it’s share of frustrations, but very happy with the final product.

Subaru/Symmetrical AWD badging is currently being prepped/painted and may or may not be added back to the left rear. I kind of like it the way it is right now.

DARKSTAR = Grateful Dead reference and the cars name ⚡💀⚡

Took off the SUBARU badge on the left and replaced it with the 'Wild Child tattoo' from the 2021 Crosstrek 'Born To Adventure' TV commercial.

How do you remove and attach the EV badges? I'd love to give it a try. Heat gun?

I just used dental floss on the EV badges.
I would recommend doubling the strands.
Use a product like Goo Gone to remove the adhesive remaining.

Same. I used dental floss and a blow dryer on my wife’s 2023 Forester the day after she got it. Didn’t even need to use goo gone or anything like it. The heat allowed the excess sticker to be rolled right off.
