In the latest episode of Talking Cars with Consumer Reports, they talk about their first impressions with the Solterra.
I'll wait for Subaru to officially state what battery the Solterra has, and what peak charging speed it has. Thanks for sharing this. I like to see any new input on this car. However, they said for DC fast charging, the car is competitive and has an acceptance rate of 150kW. Haven't we already established that the Solterra has a DC charging acceptance rate of 100kW due to the CATL batteries? That immediately made me question the validity of the review.
The one guy also said the suspensions are identical to the bZ4X (when making his claim that they are a copy). Well, the Solterra has a little extra ground clearance, so obviously not identical. Thanks for sharing this. I like to see any new input on this car. Where there are differences, I trust Subaru's judgement and priorities. The one guy also said the suspensions are identical to the bZ4X (when making his claim that they are a copy). Well, the Solterra has a little extra ground clearance, so obviously not identical.
This identical line appears on hundreds of Subaru dealer websites. I actually get 593 results if I put it in quotes....has an acceptance rate of 150kW
With the built-in-fast charge capability of 100kw/hour on the Solterra
Embarrassing 🤷This identical line appears on hundreds of Subaru dealer websites. I actually get 593 results if I put it in quotes.
